Why I started using a custom ebay listing template

Advertising watches for sale via google ads and other advertising methods is very costly with no guarantee of a return. This increases running costs and ultimately reflects in the asking prices of our watches. 

To offer a better price for our watches we stepped away from paid advertising and focused on improving our branding on our eBay store. We receive 1000's of eBay listing views a month so we started to look into how we can drive this traffic to our own Shopify store instead. Naturally eBay is not keen for customers to approach sellers directly for products so we couldn't include a link to our website on our listing. So instead we created a custom eBay listing template that would show our brand clearly to encourage people to try and find us directly. We then decided to start a new company called Templatee so other watch dealers and eBay businesses can create a eBay listing template quickly and easily.
